For each cut and shaped piece, sturdy, half hard copper is sourced. These exotic wood frames start with hand picked exotic hardwood with beautiful grain and appearance. Your art piece will be both enduring and beautiful.

  • PRODUCT INFO

    Copper is cut with a plasma torch and cleaned. Fern fronds are then shaped with various tools to resemble natural curves of nature. Patina is applied and buffed off along the stem to allow copper to show through for a beautiful finish. Copper is then sealed with a clear coat which further enhances the etch and ensures it remains tarnish free.

    Mounted on approx. 3/8" thick piece of Bolivian Rosewood. Thickness and width vary according to availability. Wood grain is important to my choice of wood therefore I hand pick each piece rather than order online. This exotic wood species only requires a buffing with wood wax. Hanger installed as well as felt pads for easy hanging.

    Please note: Copper tends to darken slightly with age even though clear coat has been applied. This is part of its natural beauty. For indoor use only.
